Buying and downloading

What exactly do I receive?

Digital files. Every product is an instant download (usually PDF files, sometimes with fillable or VTT-ready versions, or a guide with the link to a Notion template). Nothing is shipped to your door: you print what you need, when you need it.

Where do I buy?

All our products are sold through our Etsy shop. Each product page on this site has a Get it on Etsy button that takes you to the right listing. Etsy handles payment, receipts and your downloads.

How do I download my files from Etsy?
  1. Sign in to Etsy on a computer or a mobile browser.
  2. Open Your account → Purchases.
  3. Next to your order, select Download Files and save each file.

Etsy also emails you when the files are ready (check spam and promotions folders). Downloads do not work inside the Etsy app at the moment, so use a browser. If you checked out as a guest, the download link is in your receipt email. Full details are in Etsy’s help article.

Can I download the files again later?

Yes. Your files stay in the Purchases section of your Etsy account, and you can generally download them again whenever you need them.

The download button is gray. What now?

That usually means the payment is still processing. Give it a few minutes and refresh the Purchases page. If it still does not work, message us on Etsy and we will help.

Printing

A4 or US Letter?

Many of our printables come in both A4 and US Letter; some tools are designed for one size only. The exact formats are listed on each product page under Format details and in the Etsy listing. When you print, choose Actual size or 100% scale rather than “fit to page” so cards and grids keep their proportions.

Do you have ink-saver versions?

Several products include a printer-friendly or ink-saver version alongside the full-color one (it says so in the format details). If a product does not, printing in grayscale or “draft” quality works well for handouts you will write on.

What paper should I use?

Regular printer paper is fine for booklets, sheets and handouts. For cards, name tags and anything handled a lot, a light card stock makes a big difference. A paper cutter or a craft knife and ruler will make cards look shop-made.

Can I print at a copy shop?

Yes, for your own use. Bring the PDF on a USB stick or send it by email, ask for actual-size printing and, for cards, a heavier stock.

Digital play

Can I use the products on a virtual tabletop (VTT)?

Some adventures include VTT-ready map files (it is mentioned in the format details). For everything else, the PDFs work well as handouts you share on screen or upload to your VTT of choice for your own group.

How do fillable PDFs work?

Fillable files are best opened with a free PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader on a computer or tablet. Some browser viewers let you type but do not save, so download the file first, fill it in, then save a copy.

How do I get a Notion template?

Notion products come with a short PDF guide. Open it, follow the link inside and use Notion’s Duplicate option to copy the template into your own workspace. A free Notion account is enough for our templates. Once duplicated, the copy is yours to rename and customize.

Games and hosting

How much preparation does a murder mystery need?

Each host guide explains what to print, what to send in advance and how to run the rounds. Invitations usually go out about a week before the party; on the day, plan time to print, cut and set up. The product page and listing show players, duration and age guidance for each game.

Can the host play too?

In many of our party mysteries the host can also play a character; the host guide says so when it is the case. Solutions and timelines are kept in clearly marked host-only pages.

Will this site spoil the mystery for my guests?

No. Product pages and articles never reveal culprits, solutions, answers or final escape-room words, so you can safely send the link to your guests.

Are the TTRPG tools official D&D or Daggerheart products?

No. Our tools are independent and 5E compatible or Daggerheart compatible. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by the owners of those games.

Policies

Can I get a refund?

Because these are digital downloads, returns and refunds follow Etsy’s policies for digital items and the policy shown in our Etsy shop. If a file is broken, missing or does not open, please message us on Etsy first: we will gladly fix it or send a working file.

How can I use the files? (license)

Your purchase is for personal, non-commercial use: print as many copies as you need for your own games, parties and family gatherings. Please do not resell, share or upload the files, and do not use them for paid events without asking us first. If you have a special use in mind (a school, a library, a paid table), write to us.

I have a problem with an order. Who do I contact?

For anything about an order, please message us on Etsy from your purchase page: it keeps all the order details in one place. For everything else, use our contact form.
